What makes Anon ski goggles different from other ski goggles?
Anon is owned by Burton and that is really the major difference. They can spend a lot of money on advertising, just like Oakley can. When looking at goggles brand isn't as important as finding a quality lens - most of the companies have good frames that come in a variety of shapes so you can surely find something that is comfortable. Just about every manufacturer makes a cheaper pair of goggles all the way up through the outrageously expensive pairs. The lens is typically what drives the cost up, so its important to know what your looking at. I do own a pair of Anon figments - with a darker lens. I've been happy with the fit of them and actually are one of the only pair of goggles I could find to fit in my Marker race helmet oddly enough. I also ski in a pair of Smith I/Os with Ignitor Lens and Scott Auras with Amplifier Lens. Typically when I'm skiing with out a helmet or in my freeride helmet I generally opt for my Smiths or Scotts, as I have found them to have more versatile lenses to them. I would suggest looking at this video, which might help you decide what type of lens you need.
