Advice for a tanning newbie?

you can use a lotion but you don't have to. personally, i use paint it black by millenium. i recommend buying a cheap lotion to start because some lotions at salons cost A LOT of money, like $70-90. there's also a lot of different types like tingle and body blush. i don't know about those but you can ask the employees about them. yes you should wear goggles because your eyes are very sensitive!! i bought some from wal mart for just $2. if you're worried about getting a goggle tan, you can get goggle stickers. some salons sell them for 50 cents a pair but you can buy them online if you don't want to pay every time. you can tan naked but MAKE SURE it's clean. my salon cleans the bed after every use but i clean it again with their spray before i go in. one of my friends got chicken pox from going naked in an unclean bed!!! you should go in beds that are for beginners and have a max time for only 10 minutes. the most important thing to not make yourself leathery is to moisturize after!!! don't let your skin dry out. sorry for the long answer but at least it's an answer and not telling you to not tan like everyone else! :) haha happy tanning!
