Paypal Payment failed ebay saids ive paid already?

Soo I was checking out and everything was fine paypal said my amount was processed. then I go back to my won and its only showing a couple of my items being paid for, then I got a email to resend my payments on some of the items because it failed. So I try paying and it just said Ive already checkout? is this some sorta glitch or what i tried goggling and some said they got this error when paying alot of sellers which I did. but cant find out how to pay the sellers. does ebay need to reset the item so I can pay for it?
