I'm not sure if he likes me? Or is he just a flirt?

Well we've been friends for a while but when we met he had a girlfriend and she didn't care about him as much as he did. But anyways he would always flirt with me and I thought he was cute but I kept my distance since he had a girl they all ways break up and get back together and when they weren't together he would flirt with me and now they recently broke up but this time it's for good. It's been like a month and he said he's done with her. He's been flirtying alot with me now WAY MORE than usual. I'm really short and he says he loves short girls and he tells my friend that he's gonna replace the guy I used to like in front of me and ge asks me for a kiss but I always freak out and its kind of embarrassing because he goggles at me when I blush he always hugs me and he's real sweet also this guy was being a jerk to me and he almost caught him. But he's very friendly and sometimes I feel like he doesn't like me because he'll just go and hug another girl for a long time in my face and talk to her instead of me and they plan stuff together and she's pretty too so idk. He's very socialble like he's always talking to girls wether there ugly or prettynor fat or skinny he doesn't care so idk what do you think? (He's a libra and I'm an Aries if that helps)
